This week in maths we have been learning about Money. The main thing we have been learning about is  how to use your money and figure out the change and how much you have left.

Today in Business studies we had to build towers and out of the whole class, we had a challenge on who could build the biggest. We had a piece of paper and 1 meter of cellatap.

Copper coin experiment

Copper Coin experiment. 

- Clean coin in salt+vinegar solution

- Put 50ml 2moIL NoaOH into a beaker

- Heat on bunsen burner until  Nearly boiling - Stir as heating then take off the heat.

- Add a spatula of zinc powder

- Heatlitly for three minutes, with the coin in - Stir as heating

- Take a coin out with tong

- Rinse under water to remove chunks of zinc

- Wave coin in the blue flame using tongs

The 2 color changes were silver and gold.

When we mixed the Zinc and the Sodium Hydroxide it caused the coin to go silver, Then we added heat and it went gold. They all combined together

4. Before school, Joseph Park would eat bacon and egg pies, Pizza sticks and sausage rolls
5. Using a power hose is the best way to clean ur motorbike

This week we have been doing something called Geogebra. We have been set a couple of tasks Like to make a mickey mouse or set a 55-degree right angle.  but for the first couple of times, we used it we just messed around and got to learn on how 

Cretaive writing

This week We have been doing some creative writing in English. Here is a piece of my writing. I hope that is good because I thought I put in a lot of hard work/Thinking to make it better than I usually do.

It was 5 years ago. I created a shake. My siblings and I were brought up in a wooden Hut in Hawaii. I built up a reputation for the Birdman, I was known for being one with nature so I built a beautiful hut by the mountains and the flowy river. I could hear the birds chirp every morning, the view was breathtaking, The noise was tranquil, Flowing rivers and birds everything. There was nothing in the world that could replace this. In my spare time, I would find green stone to carve. It was so majestic the land was natural. It was like a view or a scene in a movie. You don't think it is real until you visit. I tried to invite my friends but they think it is “old, tedious and scary ” But they are city people so I get it. I didn't choose nature life, nature life chose me.
